Day 1 as Mr & Mrs Wang

david March 10th, 2008

12.24am – Pei Chyi removes the dozens of pins in her hair, takes a shower. David is falling asleep in the other bathroom.

12.45am – David and Pei Chyi hit the sack in their apartment for the first time. Both fall asleep 30 seconds later.

7.30am – Sun shining in through the bedroom window wakes the newlyweds.  David and Pei Chyi enjoy instant coffee in their living room. Can’t believe the wedding is finally over.

9.00am - Proceed to Pei Chyi’s parents home to pack for honeymoon. David greets ‘Pa’ and ‘Ma’.

1.00pm – Lunch with rowdy relatives.

2.00pm – Return ‘kua‘ and head to Kajang. Pei Chyi greets ‘Pa’ and ‘Ma’.

4.00pm – Tea with David’s extended family. Had leftover wedding cake. Complained about bad service at wedding banquet.

5.00pm – Pei Chyi zones out while David packs for honeymoon.

8.00pm – Quiet dinner with extended family.  Eric never fails to entertain us with his stories.

10.00pm – Leave for LCCT

11.56pm – Typing this blog post from McDonalds LCCT while waiting for flight to Manila at 1.20am. Enjoying life as Mr & Mrs Wang :D

We’re registered!

david March 4th, 2008

It’s been too long since our last update and I don’t know where to start. But the big news is that Pei Chyi and I got registered on Monday. Hooray! Now for the exchange of vows on Saturday.

After the registration, we also took some photos around Putrajaya. It was quite fun, and our photographer Bernard Goh from Creative Clicks was super dedicated and we think he did a great job. Here are some preview photos:

With 3 days to go to the big day, we’re both pretty excited and nervous, but we can’t wait to get over with it at the same time. Preparations are pretty much all in order so see you this Saturday!
