Sorry the blog has been so quiet, but we’ve got nothing to report because we’ve got nothing done yet.
Chinese New Year, monster guest lists, difficulty in finding venues, general laziness and procrastination on our part – all contributors to us being behind schedule in our planning. We’ve not yet made any solid decisions and have not booked any venues and vendors at all. We need a kick in our butts!

Bridesmaids and the future bride
Last week, we had the inaugural meeting together with my maid of honour (Jessica) and my bridesmaids (Joanie and Yvonne). The meeting was arranged so that all three maids can be introduced to each other and also because Joanie will be flying back to Melbourne (where she leads a secret life) and will only be back weeks before my wedding next year.
Speaking of next year we have sort of shortlisted the date but this will be announced later once we have confirmed the venue availability. All we can say now is that it will be in March 2008.
In the midst of discussion, we realised that Dave doesn’t have any good friends who are guys. We had a real problem shortlisting groomsmen because all his friends are of the female kind. You see, in uni, all his coursemates were girls. In his first job, he was the only male executive. Not until he joined marcus evans did he start forming friendships with the men (i meant boys).
So…all seems well and we will be venue hunting this weekend. Will be posting photos when i get them from Joanie!
